Investment Analysts—Specialists in Consumer Goods, Internet, TMT, Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities:

1. Identify long and short investment opportunities in areas where market has not comprehended enough through independent and thorough research. Make high conviction idea specific investment recommendations on the underlying to the Portfolio Manager.

2. Apply Golden Nest’s proprietary Six-Pillar Equity Analysis Framework to conduct extensive and comprehensive research due diligence, onsite visits and interviews on management team, products, competitors, end-users, industry demand and supply, regulatory supervisions etc. and write investment research reports.

3. Data collection from multiple dimensions and sources. Propose an initial hypothesis and verify the case. Build financial models to examine the details and quantify the upside/downside potential of stock ideas.

4. Closely track those underlying stocks which enter our investment portfolio and make timely investment advice to the PM on the sizing of positions as stock prices fluctuate and fundamentals change.

2. Stay curious and stay hungry, emphasis on candidate’s ability to learn from past mistakes and reflect.

3. Passionate about in-depth research and being detail oriented. We expect the candidate to keep close track of companies under coverage.

4. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to share and teamwork spirit.

5. Bachelor’s degree or above from Top Universities in China or Overseas.

6. At least three years of sector research experience in professional institutions including primary/secondary markets, strategic investment division of internet giants, renowned consulting firms etc.

7. We do not accept applications from candidates who change jobs frequently in the past. And we expect the candidate to be based in Shanghai or willing to relocate to Shanghai.

Internship Application Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or above

Degrees in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Telecommunications, Electronics, Software, Mathematics are preferred. GPA top 20% among peers.

Passionate about investment research, strong learning ability, resilient and cope well with pressure.

CET-6 passed, Excellent English reading and listening ability required.

During the internship program, we expect the candidate to work at least 4 days per week (remote work allowed) and accept OT during weekend and public vacations with remuneration.

Job Scope

Collect and analyze industrial and company data/info

Participate in listed companies research due diligence, prepare and keep meeting notes

Assist or independently complete project research and in-depth report writing, prepare daily/weekly reports

Assist investment analysts on other tasks
